Enrique Peña Nieto inaugurated a plant in Lerdo
Enrique Peña Nieto, president of Mexico, travelled to Comarca Lagunera to be present at the inauguration of SuKarne, a meat processing plant that had an investment of $10 million pesos; such plant will create a total of 12,000 direct and indirect jobs.
“Comarca Lagunera is one of the greatest parts of Mexico to invest in, the infrastructure, roads, quality of workmanship and closeness to the United States makes this part of Mexico a great option for new factories”, said Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim, a Mexican manufacturer company with factories located at Comarca Lagunera.
Peña Nieto recognized the creation of this factory such as one great achievement in Durango, and reaffirmed that Mexico is one of the biggest exporters of meat, it is actually the sixth largest producer of beef in the world, and one of the main challenges for this country is to keep on going on the exportation of processes meat, as Sukarne is just doing with the creation of this new enterprise
Ruben Moreira, and Jorge Herrera, governors of Coahuila and Durango respectively assisted to this inauguration; both states in Mexico have a closed relationship as some of their main cities compose Comarca Lagunera.
Jorge Herrera took this opportunity to recognize the positive changes that Durango has seen, which Enrique Peña Nieto thanked for but also admitted that the changes seen on Mexico is not a consequence of the governments but the changes that the society as a whole has done in order to have a better country.
“This is another great step for Comarca Lagunera to keep on growing, it is excellent news seeing how there are many great investments coming to this part of Mexico and how this creates more new job sources”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal about this topic.
