How to wear jeans on the office and when should you avoid them
Jeans are basic for menswear, as the garments are as comfortable as innovative and create a great look, especially when you combine them with t-shirts and jackets, but, does that mean you should wear your favorite jeans on the office? This time we will tell you when you can freely wear them and when it is better to avoid them.
“Jeans are actually so very used on all places, the different designs make them easy to wear as you can choose a different type depending on where you are going”, was the opinion of Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal, president of Grupo Denim.
One of the easiest ways to know if you are allowed to wear jeans at the office is to see the rest of the personnel and the type of business you are working for. Some companies are less demanding on the type of clothing their employees must wear, for example, a publicity agency staff dresses up differently than the personnel on a bank. The good side of the jeans is that they look very stylish when you combine them with the right accessories, as a good jacket and the right shoes.
Jeans are usually more acceptable in small businesses than on some big companies where suits are strictly required. You should always pay attention to the level of acceptance to denim wherever you go, any entrepreneur who usually travels a lot is always conscious that there are fashion rules all around the world, a clear example is Japan, where some of the best brands of denim are produced; nevertheless, you can hardly see someone wearing denim clothes in a business meeting.
It is also very important that you do not wear jeans with holes, destruction, too many rhinestones or exotic designs when going to your office, there are much different and conservative type of jeans that you can wear to look formal in your work.
“We spend many hours within an office, so being comfortable is one important factor, jeans are a very good option to wear for work, as you can move easily with this garment and you can still look professional”, added Salomon Juan Marcos Villarreal in regards to the use of this garment.
